HOW IT WORKS

Uphill New England is promotes easy, safe, and reliable access to uphill recreation across New England

The Uphill New England multi-mountain uphill membership pass provides access to 18 ski resorts across MA, VT, NH, and ME with a single purchase. Uphill means you skin or splitboard up the mountain using your own power (no lift access), then you ski/ride down. Some mountains allow snowshoeing.

Uphill New England provides an access pass armband, streamlined set of waivers, and mobile app. The app enables digital check-in at each resort and the ability to track your vertical throughout the season. Join our community of uphillers and help us ensure uphill access in New England!

  Step 1

Purchase Uphill New England multi-mountain uphill pass here

  Step 2

Digitally sign all mountain liability waivers sent via Signaturely

Upon purchase you will receive an email to an eSign waiver. This waiver will cover liability across ALL participating resorts and MUST be signed in order to use the pass and access terrain. Your pass WILL NOT ship unless this waiver is on file.

  Step 3

Download the Uphill New England mobile app

Our app is used to manage check-in at mountains, as well as to communicate information about access/closures, conditions reports, special deals, and more.

  Step 4

Check-in every time via the mobile app. Your pass membership will also come with a unique armband. Wear the armband in a high visibility location while uphilling.

  • Does this pass allow chairlift access? NO!!!
No! This pass requires you to go uphill the old fashion way: one step at a time. With this pass you get access to each participating mountain (and the benefits of their snow-making and grooming operations). However, make sure you are also always following the policies of each individual mountain (we have them nicely compiled in the Uphill New England mobile app). They can also shutdown uphill access for a variety of reasons - just like downhill skiing - so make sure you check before you go.
  • Why is there a limit of one pass per transaction?
We welcome you to buy many passes, but only one per transaction. We have set up an integration with Signaturely that will automatically fill out your info for all the liability waivers. Please use the name and email address of the person who will be using the pass for each transaction. For Minors, the email address should be the legal guardian. Thanks!
  • How does the multi-mountain pass work?
By purchasing the pass, you get season pass *uphill* access (aka NO chairlift access) to all of the participating mountains! Bolton Valley is limited to 3 days per season but all the other mountains include unlimited access. IMPORTANT NOTE: You still must comply with the policies of each ski resort! Each mountain is different. You can check out the specific policies of each resort in the Uphill New England mobile app (available to the public, but passholders get special member access).
